“Red” zone

According to epidemiological indicators, the Kherson region is in the “red” quarantine zone.

The work of cafes, restaurants, cinemas, theaters, markets, fitness centers and public events is prohibited there. The restriction does not apply to establishments where 100% of employees and visitors are fully vaccinated against coronavirus.

In addition, educational institutions can work full-time, subject to 100% vaccination of staff, and in another case, they must switch to telecommuting. The exception is kindergartens and grades 1-4.

Also, from October 21, residents of the “red” zone will not be able to use buses, trains and planes to travel to the regions without vaccination documents, a negative coronavirus test or a certificate of recovery from COVID.

“Orange” zone

According to epidemiological indicators, the Ministry of Health classified the following areas as “orange”:

  • Volynskaya,
  • Dnipropetrovsk,
  • Donetsk,
  • Zhytomyr,
  • Zaporizhzhya,
  • Luhansk,
  • Lviv,
  • Nikolaevskaya,
  • Odessa,
  • Sumy,
  • Kharkiv,
  • Khmelnitskaya,
  • Cherkasskaya.
  • Chernivtsi,
  • Chernihiv.

Note that the “orange” level of epidemic danger does not contain additional restrictions and is determined by the signal that a region is approaching the “red” zone.

“Yellow” zone

Kiev and the region:

  • Vinnytsia,
  • Transcarpathian,
  • Ivano-Frankivsk,
  • Kievskaya,
  • Kirovograd,
  • Poltava,
  • Rivne,
  • Ternopil.

With the “yellow” level in the regions, it is necessary to adhere to the mask regime, the social distance of 1.5 m, and also mass events with the participation of more than 1 person per 4 square meters are prohibited; fill more than 50% of the seats in the cinema and halls of cultural institutions; fill gyms at the rate of more than 1 person per 10 sq. meters.
