This model appeared a few weeks ago on TENAA – a regulatory agency similar to Anatel – but until then there weren’t many details about this device. In addition to the technical specifications were also released some images that reveal how the design of ‘Snapdragon for Insiders’ should be.

In the images it is possible to notice that the device has a visual clearly inspired by the ROG Phone 5, Asus’ latest smartphone gamer. On the front we have a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution (2448 x 1080), 144 refresh rate, HDR10 and HDR10+ support and 800 nit brightness. The screen also has protection Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, same certification that is present on the Galaxy S20 Ultra.

The performance must be exceptional, as the model has the SoC Snapdragon 888, one octa-core (1x Kryo 680 Prime Core @ 2.84 GHz, 3 Kryo 680 performance cores at 2.4 GHz and 4 Kryo 680 efficiency cores at 1.8 GHz), Adreno 660 and GPU 16 GB of RAM memory in the LPDDR5 standard.

The back doesn’t display a gamers visual, just showing the triple camera module aligned horizontally and followed by a red border. Further down is a depression that is apparently a biometric reader and finally the Qualcomm logo with the inscription ‘Snapdragon’.

While not the focus of the device, the manufacturer added a well-balanced camera set, the primary sensor being a 64 MP Sony IMX686 that comes with a 12 MP ultrawide lens and a phone with 8 MP resolution. The post-processing will be in charge of the Asus software, so we can expect a similar quality to what we find in the brand’s top-of-the-line.

As extras it brings good connectivity, being compatible with the 5G sub-6 GHz and mmWave bands, bringing the 3rd generation Snapdragon X60 5G modem and the Qualcomm FastConnect 6900 system for the best Wi-Fi experience in Wi-Fi networks 6 and WiFi 6E. There is also support for NFC and Bluetooth 5.2.

The smartphone arrives with a 4,000mAh battery with 66W Qualcomm Quick Charge 5.0 quick charge support, allowing a full charge in less than an hour. The native software is Android 11.
