Dr. Raji Tawadros, Director of Health Affairs in Qena, announced the launch of the presidential initiative, Mother and Fetal Health, which is part of the presidential initiative 100 million health, and targets pregnant women from the first day of pregnancy until birth, with the aim of early detection of many diseases.
Tawadros explained that the campaign will uncover diseases, HIV, and hepatitis BSyphilis, pointing out that these diseases are transmitted from mother to fetus, in addition to the detection of sugar and pressure for pregnant women.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health indicated that the initiative will be launched from tomorrow in 150 health units distributed at the governorate level to check and check on pregnant women, in the period from 9 to 2 p.m. daily, and the analysis for women is done by a nurse by taking one blood sample from the pregnant woman.
Dr. Raji Tawadros, Director of Health Affairs, called on pregnant women in the governorate to go to the concerned health units for free examination and analysis to check on them.
