Putin: The danger of nuclear war is growing

The danger of nuclear war is growing, Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned. However, he specified that Moscow will resort to nuclear weapons only if attacked.

Putin noted that unlike the United States, Russia does not supply nuclear weapons to other countries close to America and said that his country has the ability to defend itself against external aggression by all means.

“We haven’t gone crazy. We realize what a nuclear weapon is. We have such weapons, and they are more advanced, more efficient than nuclear weapons of any other nuclear power. It is obvious. But we are not going to swing these weapons like a razor around the world. However, we proceed from the fact that we have them,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
