Putin said they do not take US threats seriously

The Kremlin said it does not take seriously the threats of the United States of America about the consequences if Moscow continues its aggression against Ukraine.

This position of the Russian authorities was shared by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov. His words were quoted by a propaganda agency TASS.

“These are the calls to abandon some ephemeral aggressive actions, threats … The more you utter such phrases, the more they are devalued,” he said.

Thus, a Kremlin spokesman commented on the statements of US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken that President Joe Biden still adheres to the position that Russia will have to “pay the price” if it acts “aggressively and irresponsibly.”

According to Peskov, “the Russian Federation has never presented and does not pose a threat to anyone,” and also allegedly never engaged in aggressive actions.

Note: the press secretary of the President of Ukraine Yulia Mendel reported that Vladimir Zelensky submitted a request for negotiations with the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putinto discuss the escalation of the conflict in Donbass, but there is still no response to this initiative.

But Dmitry Peskov tried to deny the fact of Zelensky’s appeal to Putin, saying that he did not know anything about it.

As reported OBOZREVATEL, formerly U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken discussed Russia’s unilateral provocations in the Ukrainian Donbass with French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian and German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.
