Moscow once again blames Kyiv.
The Russian president-dictator Vladimir Putin stated that there was no prospect of peace talks with Ukraine. They again blame the Ukrainian side for the reason. Or rather, legislation.
This opinion was expressed by the press secretary of the head of the Kremlin, Dmitry Peskov, Russian SMP write.
According to him, supposedly Ukrainian laws prohibit dialogue with the aggressor country – with Russia. Putin’s representative did not forget to mention the countries of the West.
“In conditions when the laws of Ukraine forbid the President of Ukraine to conduct any contacts with us or conduct any dialogue with us, in conditions when Westerners are obviously not inclined to allow Kyiv any flexibility in this matter, to talk about that there are some prospects, now it’s not necessary,” Peskov said.
Also, according to him, there is a positive trend in the conduct of the “special operation”.
Moscow’s statements about “peace talks”
This is not the first time that the Kremlin has verbally stated that they are ready for negotiations with Kyiv. However, in fact, they do not stop the attacks. For example, commenting on the peace initiatives of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Peskov said that Russia would continue the genocidal war, because it testifies to “common sense.”
Putin, during a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that Russia is open to dialogue on Ukraine. However, according to him, Kyiv should take into account “new territorial realities.”
Peskov also stated that no “peace plan” in relation to Ukraine can exist regardless of today’s realities. It implies the so-called “entry” into the Russian Federation Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
