“PSPV-PSOE Secretary Calls for Prudence as Election Recount Nears Happy Ending”

The Secretary of Organization of the PSPV-PSOE, José Muñoz, has called for “prudence” although he has shown himself “calm and sure” that the recount of the elections will conclude with a “happy ending” and that “he will agree with the president , Ximo Puig”, and has defended that there will be a third government of his candidate. “There have been many surveys,” he pointed out.

This is how Muñoz has pronounced himself in statements prior to the start of the count, where he has indicated that the Socialists are “very satisfied with this historic participation” that has taken place in the Valencian Community. In fact, he has indicated that the participation generates “certain positive expectations.”

Muñoz has indicated that he will wait for the scrutiny to make an assessment, but has stressed that “in recent months there have never been so many surveys” and that on many occasions “it seems that they do not want to predict, but rather condition the results”.

The GAD3 survey gives the PSPV-PSOE between 31 and 33 seats, which represents an improvement of between four and six compared to the 2019 elections, but it would not be enough to revalidate the left-wing majority that Ximo’s second presidency allowed Puig.
