Several times, PSI criticized the Governor Anies Baswedan about the Formula E show. However, PSI politicians suddenly said something surprising, they were never against the father of the electric car.
PSI’s statement was delivered by PSI politician Rian Ernest. Rian said his criticism of Formula E was because Formula E seemed forced.
“We have never been against people, so we have never been against people, against programs. What we are against is launching a program that actually doesn’t exist in the Mid-Term Development Plan, is forced to exist,” said PSI politician, Rian Ernest, in the Total Politics discussion. at Bangi Kopi, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Sunday (23/1/2022).
Rian said that Formula E is just a waste of DKI Jakarta’s APBD money. The money used is not small.
“Using the budget from DKI Jakarta, almost half a trillion, actually. Even though back then, the Formula E committee said, ‘Oh no, why is there no DKI budget that has been issued’, in fact there is Rp. 560 billion that has already been issued, it is part of DKI Jakarta’s budget, “said Rian.
According to Rian, there are things more important than Formula E. However, Governor Anies still implements Formula E.
“How can a program like this be implemented when there are two important things that DKI Jakarta residents have been waiting for from each governor, solving two main problems, traffic jams and flooding,” continued Rian.
Rian said that it was legal for Anies to hold Formula E as long as Anies completed his priority program. “This means that the main priority has been resolved, then shift to other priorities such as Formula E,” said Rian.
