Even without Neymar, PSG turned the Barça defensive upside down. The main actor in the 4-1 away win was Kylian Mbappé, who almost single-handedly opened the doors to the quarter-finals with his hat trick. Messi & Co., on the other hand, experienced déjà vu.
Lionel Messi gives Barcelona the lead in the game against PSG with an unsustainable penalty. Better than Bale, Ronaldo or Ronaldinho
With his 24 goals, the world champion has about more goals in the Champions League than Steven Gerrard (21), Raheem Sterling (21), Nicolas Anelka (20), Gareth Bale (20), Ronaldinho (18) or Ronaldo (16 ). And that at the age of 22.
Mbappé has already scored 111 goals in 153 games. This makes him number 3 in the club’s history. Only Cavani (200) and Ibrahimovic (156) are still in front of him. The emotional world at Messi, on the other hand, looks dreary despite his 119th goal in the Champions League. With the 1: 4 mortgage, the premature end in the Champions League seems already sealed.
