Sony has just confirmed the PlayStation Indies initiative, thanks to which new productions from independent developers will appear on PlayStation consoles. The Corporation will announce today 9 games that will hit PS5 and PS4.

PlayStation Indies is a brand new Sony initiative. Shuhei Yoshida will have the opportunity to watch over the project and today, the head of “Indies Initiative for PlayStation” will introduce players to 9 productions aimed at PS5 and PS4. We can’t rely on AAA positions here, but these will be games supported by Sony Interactive Entertainment.
“I am pleased to officially announce the PlayStation Indies initiative. We hope that thanks to PlayStation Indies we will draw attention and support the best of the best indie games published on PlayStation and the entire indie game community. Our goal is to make PlayStation the best place to create, find and play the best indie games. “
Shuhei Yoshida pointed out that there is great potential in indie games because indie developers can develop ideas that will not pass on AAA games. Creating high-budget items is very expensive, so often developers can’t take the risk – indie creators don’t face this problem.
Games from PlayStation Indies will also hit PlayStation Now – the first item is Hello Neighbor. Today we will see 9 games that you will definitely read about on PPE. All proposals are for PS5 and PS4.
