The provisional data of the municipal elections in Pulpí offered by the Ministry of the Interior could be erroneous. According to those figures, They can be consulted on the official website of 28-Mthe Popular Party would have obtained 10 councilors, the PSOE 6 and VOX 1. But the figures do not coincide with those offered by the Pulpileño City Council.
As reported by the City Council in a press release, the data published by the Ministry of the Interior are erroneous. VOX would have been granted 81 votes that would really be from the PSOE. These ballots are what make a mayor appear for VOX, but with the corrected data that councilor would lose, in favor of the PSOE, who would have 7.
Sources from the Vera Zone Electoral Board have informed Almeria Newspaper that the published data is provisional and that it will not be until this Friday June 2 when the final scrutiny is carried outin a public act. It will be then when possible errors in the communication of the data from the polling stations are corrected.
According to the data provided by the Pulpí City Council, the real results would be these: 2,356 votes for the PP, 1,613 votes for the PSOE and 165 votes for Vox.
With this data, Juan Pedro García revalidates the mayoralty of Pulpí with a total of 10 councilors for the PP, two councilors more than those achieved in the 2019 Municipal Elections, taking into account that this year the councilors rise to 17 for having exceeded the barrier of 10,000 inhabitants. The PSOE reaches 7 councilors, compared to the 5 councilors it obtained in the last elections. And Vox does not get a seat, running out of representation in the Pulpí City Council.
Election day in Pulpí ended with a participation of 66.87%having voted a total of 4,234 residents registered in the municipality, of the 6,332 total were called to the polls.
