The Ministry of Health and Population has advised mothers and pregnant women to go to the nearest health unit affiliated with the President of the Republic’s initiative in support of maternal and fetal health.
The Ministry of Health has indicated that the initiative monitors the mother’s health throughout pregnancy and for a period of 42 days after delivery.
The initiative offers free examination, follow-up and treatment, remembering that the official working hours are: every day from 8:00 to 14:00.
On how to register for the initiative, the Ministry of Health has confirmed that pregnant women will have to go to the nearest health facility to register for the initiative and give them a card containing the results of some tests that will be carried out, such as hepatitis, diabetes and HIV.
After the exam, the results are recorded. These tests are on the initiative page, as well as on the form that will be given to the expectant mother.
