Mang Eman (51), a jelly trader from Garut has touched netizens after going viral buying Padang rice with Rp. 5,000 in cash. Mang Eman then received Rp 108 million from donations collected by netizens.
The donation of Rp 108 million was handed over directly by Elsa Amelia, the donor, at Padang Bungo Tanjung Restaurant, Jalan Ahmad Yani Timur, Garut Kota District. Elsa Amelia is the first uploader of Mang Eman’s video.
Feelings of emotion, sadness and happiness radiated from the old face of this 51-year-old man. Mang Eman prostrated when he received that much money.
“On behalf of Eman, I am very grateful to all of them. Hopefully this kindness will become a charity of worship and a blessing,” said Wawan, Eman’s brother, Saturday (31/7/2021).
According to Wawan, Eman also donated the money for orphans. “It is also used for orphans. There are still many in need,” said Wawan.
