Project xCloud is coming to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in September

Microsoft has announced that their cloud gaming service Project xCloud will be part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate from September. Incidentally, this will not increase the price of the subscription.

On the official website let the company know of the integration of the cloud gaming service to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Initially this only happens for the countries that already support Project xCloud and that includes the Netherlands and Belgium.

It is not yet clear whether it is also possible to only subscribe to Project xCloud. Microsoft only mentions the addition of the service to the subscription service in the post. This also currently provides access to hundreds of Xbox One and PC games and Xbox Live Gold.

The games played through the service run on consoles in Microsoft servers. These images are streamed again to an app that can be used on Android devices. Microsoft is also currently working on an app for iOS and Windows devices. It is not known at the time of writing when these appear. It could well be that one of these already appears in September.
