Regardless of the case she is still facing, Angelina is not free from her brilliant career past.
Angelina was first recognized by the public after becoming the winner of the Puteri Indonesia beauty contest in 2001.

Angelina Sondakh was proven to have received bribes of Rp. 2.5 billion and US $ 1.2 million in budget discussions at the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) and the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) or what is known as the Wisma Athlete case.
Had an appeal against the results of the first trial, but the Supreme Court actually increased the sentence to 12 years in prison.
The sentence is three times longer than the first verdict at the Corruption Court.
