A teacher from the Dallas school district, who has been rated by the International Literature Association as one of the top 30 teachers under 30, invites Metroplex students on a virtual trip around the world.
Akash Patel, originally from India and who speaks 6 languages, has managed to virtually connect his high school students from DISD and other parts of the country for a virtual cultural journey.
Through its foundation Happy World, Patel wants students to be interested in learning other languages, meeting young people like them in other countries and mainly, creating empathy.
At the moment, Happy World It has 1,000 volunteers from 150 countries connecting with students from all over the United States.
