BankID with app and chip and BankID signature is unavailable for some users on Tuesday morning, BankID states on its website.
– We apologize for the problems this causes and are working to correct the error, they write further.
BankID became aware of the error at around 10.15 am on Tuesday. It is not known how many people are affected by the problems.
– But there is probably quite a bit. We apologize of course that some customers have to wait a bit and try several times, says communications manager Hege Steinsland VG.
BankID is an electronic identification system used by several Norwegian banks and other organisations.
