PrintNightmare: Emergency Security Update for Windows

Last week, security researchers discovered a serious vulnerability in the Print Spooler service in Windows that has been designated CVE-2021-34527.

With the help of the vulnerability, which also goes by the name PrintNightmare, hackers can gain full access to the computer. In other words, they can install malware, modify data, and create new accounts.

The vulnerability is considered so serious that Microsoft has now released an emergency security update for Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019, but also older versions such as Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2012 R2.
