This Saturday, October 7th, was the day for one of the acts most important and significant in the military career and Princess Eleanorin what is her training to one day be queen: the oath of the flag.
It was through a kiss on the Spanish flag that the 17-year-old heir to the throne made her commitment to the country, during a solemn ceremony presided over by her parents, Philip VI e Joy.
As the magazine highlights Hola!around 411 cadets participated in this event full of tradition, which was attended by around 2500 people.
This moment symbolizes Princess Leonor’s official entry into the Army. On the 12th of October, Leonor will be present at the National Celebration Day, together with her parents, and on the 31st of October, the day on which she turns 18 yearswill take the oath to the Constitution in the Cortes Generales.
