Prince William hid his coronavirus infection in April, several British reports media Sunday after reporting The Sun. The British prince did this in order not to panic the residents of the United Kingdom about the corona pandemic.
The 38-year-old prince is said to have been infected with the virus in April and had difficulty breathing as a result. Prince William’s spokesmen have not officially responded to the report.
According to The Sun the prince is said to have been treated by doctors of the British royal family. The second in line of succession would have continued to work. He is also said to have gone into self-isolation in Anmer Hall, where the British royal family owns a house.
Prince Charles, Prince William’s father, tested positive for the coronavirus in March and experienced mild symptoms. Just under a week after his diagnosis became known, the 71-year-old first in line to the British throne no longer needed home insulation.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was also hospitalized in March after a corona infection. The 56-year-old head of government said in April that he was dead thanks to the people who took care of him after he contracted the virus.
In April, Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton joked with British school children during a video calling session.
