“Prince Vladimir” – a unique “Moskvich” edition with a price tag of 6300 euros.

The name of this “Moskvich” model is “Prince Vladimir”. The owner of the car stated that “Prince Vladimir” still has the original engine under the hood. The car is rare, as only 1302 such vehicles were produced between 1997 and 2001.

Under the hood of the car, a 1.7-liter UZAM gasoline engine with a capacity of 85 horsepower roars. The extended version of the car was produced only for a few years. Such cars were usually used by the mayor of Moscow and other state institutions.

Depending on the configuration, in 2001 “Prince Vladimirs” could be purchased from the factory for 154,500 rubles or 1,865 euros. The modification with a two-liter engine cost 164,500 rubles, or 1,985 euros, and the all-wheel drive car – 212,200 rubles, or 2,561 euros. The most elegant model was with a “Renault” engine – 205 00 rubles or approximately 2475 euros. The price already included 20% VAT and 5% sales tax.

In 2022, “Moskvich” began a new stage in the history of the car brand – mass production of new cars began in Moscow. The new “Moskvich” are Chinese JAC crossovers, only with certain nuances.
