We have known for some time that Prince Laurent has a big heart for animals, and that became clear once again during his visit to Tongeren. He was moved to see the dogs being bred and trained to help the blind later on. “My children would love to have a dog, but I have to solve my problems first, then maybe we can take an animal in,” said Prince Laurent. He thus refers to the back problems with which he has been struggling for a while.
