Prime suspect in the Maddie McCann case had 391 child pornography or …

Christian Brueckner (42) is suspected of kidnapping Madeleine McCann

Christian Brückner, the prime suspect in Madeleine McCann’s disappearance case, had hidden nearly 400 child pornography photos on his computer. 68 violent videos, showing images of young boys and girls being abused, have also been found. That reports ‘The Mail on Sunday’.

Court documents available to the British newspaper show that Christian Brückner owned a Casio Exilim, a small digital camera on which he kept 391 child pornography photos and 68 violent videos of boys and girls. The device also features images of himself abusing his ex-girlfriend’s five-year-old daughter. That device eventually turned out to be the most important evidence in two trials against the man. In one of those lawsuits, he was also officially charged with sexually assaulting the girl and possessing child pornography.

Gruesome details

A ten-page judgment from the Braunschweig court reveals that in the photos, children under 14 were abused by adults. According to police, the gruesome videos were taken from the internet and stored on the camera’s memory card. The memory card also contained several nude and other sexually explicit photos of Brückner’s other ex-girlfriend, not the five-year-old’s mother.

Local police also found an illegal Reck P6E pistol with ammunition in his apartment. The five-year-old child was abused on June 16, 2013 in Braunschweig. Just then, Brückner also came on the radar of the German detectives. They then began to follow his actions because they considered him a major suspect in the disappearance of little Madeleine McCann.

Finally, the judgment adds that he took the photos of his ex’s own abused daughter and him and that he “saved the footage for later to become sexually aroused.”

Maddie McCann

Meanwhile, the investigation into the disappearance of Maddie Mc Cann is in full swing. Brückner is still considered the prime suspect. Last month, police searched an allotment garden near Hanover, where Brückner lived for a while after returning to Germany, shortly after Maddie disappeared in Portugal.

The British girl (3) went missing on May 3, 2007 from the holiday apartment her parents had rented at the Ocean Club in Praia da Luz in the Algarve. The child disappeared while the parents were eating with friends a little further away. In early June, German justice and police surprisingly announced that they suspect 43-year-old German Christian Brückner of the kidnapping and murder of Maddie.

The man is currently serving a 21-month prison sentence in Kiel for a drug offense. Because he has served two thirds of them, he is eligible for parole. He has already applied for it, for the second time by the way.
