Jambon states that his government wants to do everything in its power to contain the new uproar. “We monitor this from minute to minute. The services of the Flemish government will continue to work hard. “
At the same time, the Flemish Prime Minister therefore asked Federal Prime Minister Sophie Wilmès to accelerate the convening of the National Security Council (NVR).
Wilmès seems to respond to this. On Sunday she will convene the experts from the federal states together in a kind of mini-Security Council. On that basis, it will then be decided whether the real Security Council should meet early.
