Prime Minister drained bloody during fierce protest against mandatory vaccines Abroad

Images on social media show that the prime minister was hospitalized with blood. Violent protests against the island group’s government have been going on for several weeks. There is a proposal for mandatory vaccination of healthcare personnel on the shelf.

Gonsalves was walking out of parliament in the capital Kingstown towards his official car when he was hit on the head with an unknown object. He was taken away bleeding profusely and spent the night in a hospital. Protesters wanted to block the entrance to the parliament out of dissatisfaction. Gonsalves is in his fifth term as top political boss.

So far, about three thousand positive corona tests have been detected on the more than thirty islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Twelve people are known to have died from the virus that came over from China. Just under ten percent of the population on the islands is fully vaccinated.
