The clinical trial PRIMACOV, inserted in the Back On Track initiative organized by Primavera Sound and the Fight Against AIDS and Infectious Diseases Foundation and the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital in Badalona (Barcelona), has started its first phase with successful organization and participation: 1,042 People participated last Saturday in the clinical trial of the Apolo hall with rapid tests to validate the celebration of concerts without social distance. The results of the study will be known in mid-January:

The clinical trial PRIMACOV and it is a fact. The first phase of the study took place last Saturday, December 12, in the Apolo hall: 1,042 people participated in this study on carrying out a concert without social distance and in a totally safe way. All of them had previously performed rapid antigen tests (together with a PCR), the result of which in 15 minutes determined their access to the room. Because that was the objective of this study: to validate the tests as an extremely useful tool to be able to carry out any type of event, whether musical or not, without social distance.
This successful participation and organization, however, is not yet complete: it is necessary that the 1,042 people who were part of both the control group and those who accessed the room come next Sunday, December 20, to perform a new PCR to that the results are fully valid.
This clinical trial, approved by the health authorities and promoted by Primavera Sound Next to the Foundation to Fight AIDS and Infectious Diseases and the Germans Trias i Pujol University Hospital from Badalona (Barcelona), is part of the project Back On Track.
As the results of this trial, which will be known in mid-January 2021, can be extremely useful for many sectors to resume their activity normally, they have already joined the Back On Track patrons like Last Tour, Live Nation, Apollo, Brunch-In, Universal Music Group, GTS, Sony Music, Cruïlla, Razzmatazz, BBF, Jägermeister, SGAE, Madness Live, Palau Sant Jordi (BSM), Vampire Studio, Sala Zero, Palm Fest, Ticketmaster, ReCup, The Wild Seeds, Taller de Músics, collaborators such as Fundació Banc Sabadell and the support of Barcelona City Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya through ICUB and ICEC.
