Prices – Erfurt – Proposals wanted for Thuringian children’s inclusion price – economy

Erfurt (dpa/th) – The Learn-Understand-Fördern association calls for applications for the Thuringian Children’s Inclusion Prize. For the third time after 2016 and 2019, families living in the Free State can propose projects that “work for all children to get together from infancy to the end of school or training and thus contribute to improving the quality of life,” as the association announced.

According to the association, the proposed projects can have an educational, social or cultural focus. Childminders, daycare centers, schools, theater groups, choirs, sports clubs, but also museums were named as possible winners. Among other things, the criteria are that the needs of all participating children and young people are taken into account in the project and that the actors make a special effort to prevent the exclusion of individuals.

Proposals must be submitted by May 31st. Three cash prizes with a total value of 10,000 euros and a prize in kind are to be presented at the award ceremony in November in the Augustinian monastery in Erfurt. The team from the wheelchair basketball team Thuringia Bulls has also announced their participation – their coach Michael Engel is this year’s patron and member of the jury.
