This year many people decided to spend their holidays in Poland. The most popular holiday destination is of course the Polish sea. Some, however, are afraid of being in popular coastal towns a week’s rest can go out even more expensive than a foreign holiday all inclusive. Is it really expensive at the Polish seaside?

How much does a fish cost by the sea?
The price of fish in restaurants and bars depends on its type. By the sea, fish is most often valued by weight. Sample prices:
- cod – 6-10 PLN / 100 g
- trout – 5.5-7 PLN / 100 g
- Miruna – 6-7 PLN / 100 g
- flounder – 4.5-6 PLN / 100 g
- pollock – 6-7 PLN / 100 g
- halibut – 8.5-10 PLN / 100 g
- salmon – 10-12 PLN / 100 g

Most often, ordering a dinner set is the most advantageous. Then we pay between 25 and 30 PLN for a portion of fish, salad and potatoes / fries. Here are the prices for sample sets:
- hake approx. 200 g + potatoes + salad + compote – 26 PLN,
- miruna shish kebab + french fries + salad – 28.9 zlotys,
- cod approx. 200 g + potatoes + salad + compote – 24 PLN,
- Miruna 200 g + fries + salad – 25 PLN,
- trout 250 g + fries + salad – 28 PLN,
- halibut 200 g + fries + salad – PLN 30
