In times like these, doomsday scenarios are flying around you. Bitcoin (BTC) going down! That is the conclusion of the mainstream media and many Bitcoin critic. It really doesn’t look pretty. However, technically nothing has changed at all.
Bitcoin continues
It is now difficult to see that fundamentally things are actually going pretty well for the mother of all cryptocurrencies. The network launched in 2009 when it was just a piece of computer code that a few internet geeks played with. And today it is still (almost) the same piece of computer code, but we see a big difference.
And that big difference is that large companies, such as MicroStrategyeven to land have embraced the cryptocurrency. They believe that Bitcoin is the future of a fair and transparent monetary system. Time will of course show whether this is indeed the case. But if you had the bitcoin price I don’t like looking at this at the moment, I can recommend that you take a look at the adoption curve of technologies in the past, as in this article.
Is the Bitcoin Bear Market Helpful?
In the end, we cannot ignore the fact that the prices on the crypto market are deeply in the negative. Whether or not projects recover is part of the next step in creating a healthy crypto landscape in the future. Just like during the Dotcom bubble, when countless internet companies sprang up like mushrooms, now only the actually working projects are left.
The hope is that during this bear market, another batch of failed projects will go under (did someone say Terra?† The result will be that projects that can really add something remain. But this will not happen in a single cycle. We have already had a lot of these kinds of bear markets and there will undoubtedly be many more in the future.
