RILISID, Onion — Kodim 0426 Tulangbawang together with the Menggala Health Center carried out centralized fumigation (fogging focus), Wednesday (12/29/2021).
This is done as a measure to anticipate and eradicate Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).
Pasandi Kodim 0426 Tuba, Letda Yogo Utomo, explained that this fumigation is to eradicate mosquitoes that cause dengue fever, aedes aegypti.
“This activity aims to eradicate disease germs caused by dengue mosquitoes during the transition season,” said Yogo.
He said there were three target points for fumigation, namely the Makodim, offices, and the official housing complex.
There are three Puskesmas employees assisted by Kodim members in the implementation fogging focus this.
The disease caused by mosquito bites, he said, did not only target children. But also adults.
“The most important thing is that we must keep the environment clean so that the mosquito larvae do not breed,” he explained.
