Offer (HO) – In the midst of the vigilance of the COVID-19 pandemic, the public must also remain vigilant with other diseases that threaten their health and life safety. One of the diseases that still need to be watched out for is Dengue Fever (DHF). The Banjaran Village Government, Padang Cermin District, Pesawaran Regency immediately moved quickly to carry out fogging activities in the local village area on Saturday (5/2/2022).
The Head of Banjaran Village, Mat Hamzah, said that the activity was an anticipatory measure against the transmission of dengue fever and spraying fogging was carried out in Dusun Dua, Banjajaran Village because there were already two residents affected by DHF.
“Yes, today there is a fogging spraying activity carried out in residential areas, then the yards of people’s houses and ordinary places become mosquito nests,” he told the media. Handalonline.com, Saturday (5/2/2022).
The village head continued, spraying fogging was directly handled by the village apparatus who had been trained because in this case his party did not involve the residents but the entire Banjaran Village apparatus.
“Alhamdulillah, in this fogging activity, we are assisted by medicine by the Padang Cermin District Health Office, hopefully this activity will be very beneficial for the community and hopefully my community will be protected from diseases caused by mosquitoes,” he said.
He explained that this fogging activity is a form of responsibility from the Banjaran Village Government (Pemdes). Given the rainfall that often causes flooding in the coastal area of Pesawaran, precisely in Padang Cermin District, spraying is therefore carried out.
“I hope that with the fogging activity, the people of Banjaran Village can avoid Dengue Fever and the Covid-19 virus,” he concluded. (Indra Jaya)
