JAKARTA, iNews.id – Officers do fumigation (Fogging) to eradicate the growth of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito and prevent the spread of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF).DBD) during the rainy season in dense residential areas in West Jakarta, Wednesday (15/12/2021).

Recently, it has started to rain in some areas. There are several diseases that are synonymous with the rainy season. In addition to coughing and colds, another disease to watch out for is dengue hemorrhagic fever or DHF.

Symptoms of DHF usually begin 4-6 days after infection and last up to 10 days. Some of the symptoms are similar to those of COVID-19, including sudden high fever, severe headache, severe joint and muscle pain, and fatigue. The purpose of this fumigation is to help the government and remind the public that apart from the COVID-19 pandemic, there is dengue fever which is quite dangerous.
