President of Dimayor does not set date of return to Colombian soccer

With great joy, last Thursday it was celebrated that the National Government, after several months of struggle, approved phases 4 and 5 of the Dimayor protocol for the return of football. That is, the collective training sessions and the restart of the competition are ready to start, but now the delay is on the side of the managers.

Yes, as weird, it is still not clear in Dimayor how it will be played, if in a venue, if in the natural stadiums of each team and there is still no clear date for the ball to roll again in the BetPlay League.

In communication with RCN Radio, the president of Dimayor, Fernando Jaramillo, was clear about what he continues to do so that the fans can enjoy Colombian football again.

“There are many things that need to be worked on, hand in hand with the Ministry of Health and Sports. We hope so, in mid-September, but there are many details to work on,” said Jaramillo.

Of course, he made clear the position of the entity, which has many reservations with a return in places such as the Eje Cafetero, one of those that have been proposed, due to the difficult economic situation that the teams are going through and for logistical reasons: “Such a long concentration does not even happen in a World Cup,” he said.

This Friday there will be a meeting with all the clubs to discuss these issues and coordinate everything with the Ministry of Sports and it is estimated that in mid-September the League would return to action, but there are still many details to discuss.
