President Joko Widodo and the Minister of Trade who is also the General Chair of PAN Zulkifli Hasan had lunch together today, Sunday (7/1).
They ate lunch while chatting at Medja Restaurant, in Bogor City, West Java.
“That’s right. This afternoon (Zulkifli Hasan) plans to have lunch with President Jokowi at a restaurant,” said the Mayor of Bogor, Bima Arya, quoting BetweenSunday (7/1).
Previously, Jokowi also met with two ministers who were also general chairs of political parties.
On Friday (5/1), Jokowi had dinner with Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto at a restaurant in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta. Prabowo is also the general chairman of the Gerindra Party and presidential candidate number 2.
Prabowo is accompanied by Jokowi’s eldest son, Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election. They face Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar and Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud MD.
A day later or on Saturday (6/1), Jokowi met the Coordinating Minister for the Economy who is also the General Chair of Golkar Airlangga Hartarto.
They had breakfast and morning exercise together at the Bogor Botanical Gardens. In the one-on-one meeting, Airlangga admitted to discussing Indonesia’s economic growth and the 2024 presidential election.
“Yes, of course there are many things that can be discussed with him, including sustainability programs and economic targets for 2024. This is coincidentally at the beginning of the year, the first week of 2024,” Airlangga told reporters at the Pakansari Stadium, Bogor, West Java on Saturday. (6/1).
Prabowo, Airlangga and Zulhas are the leaders of the political party supporting candidate pair number 2 in the 2024 presidential election.
