Presenter Gerty Christoffels has died at the age of 62, after suffering from a lingering illness for two years. She became known as a panel member of ‘The three wise men’ and, after a transfer to VTM, ‘Who of the three? ”.

Bouquet of Flanders, that was her baptism of fire at the then BRT in 1984. For that she went looking for interesting, beautiful pictures. It was an immediate career switch, because before that she taught Dutch, English and religion in different schools. She made a complete breakthrough as a panel member The three wise men, the successful humorous quiz with Kurt Van Eeghem at the helm.

In 1995 she made a top transfer to VTM, where she became part of the panel of Wie van de Drie? She later also presented, among other things Gerty, Green fingers in Marry me. In 2006 the cooperation with VTM ended.
In 2017, Christoffels was once again in the panel of the new series together with Jacques Vermeire and Walter Grootaers The three wise men, in favor of “Everyone Against Cancer”. At that time she herself was already suffering from the disease.
