There are many options for upgrading Russian cars on the Internet. Some drivers resort to tuning in order to modify what the manufacturer did not work, others for the sake of entertainment. But good projects are not common. And now the lowest UAZ “Hunter” is represented by a group of auto mechanics who undertake only large-scale work.
Specialists set themselves the task of not easily underestimating an SUV, but making it a full-fledged car, and its appearance will survive a total “facelift”. After the manipulations, the car will be an exact copy of the “Gelika”. At the first stage, the engineers cut off the lower part of the body so that the thresholds “sat down” on the road. But with the help of a pneumatic installation UAZ “Hunter” has the ability to “grow” in height.
At the second stage, motorists replaced the standard power unit with a 2.5-liter 6-valve 1-JZ engine from the Toyota brand. After installing the power components, the steering and exhaust system settings were followed. After making sure that the SUV is functioning and driving, the engineers proceed to the primer and painting of the UAZ Hunter.
As a result, in an intermediate version between UAZ and Helik, motorists got a kind of design, which in the future will turn into a full-fledged German SUV. The “crazy hands” look exactly like that in a modern way. It is worth noting that projects, including this one, cost motorists a decent amount and calling their brainchild a “collective farm” does not turn the language.
In subsequent actions, motorists will begin to create a new design for the UAZ Hunter, after which the SUV will gain a long-awaited image.
