Whether you go back to work at the beginning of August or start your vacation, this is an opportunity to take stock of the 2022-2023 school holiday calendar in the various academies in France.

As the month of August begins, we invite you to look into the school calendar 2022-2023 in order to anticipate your next vacation.
If the dates of the All Saints and Christmas holidays are common to the three regions, on the other hand, the dates of the winter and spring holidays are specific to each of them.
If you live in Nantes, you are part of zone B, and will be able to spend all the All Saints’ Day and Christmas holidays with your cousins in Lyon, whose academy is located in zone A.
On the other hand, for the winter and spring holidays you will only have the second week of holidays in zone A and the first in zone B.
- Zone A includes the academies of Besançon, Bordeaux, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Grenoble, Limoges, Lyon and Poitiers
- Zone B includes the academies of Aix-Marseille, Amiens, Lille, Nancy-Metz, Nantes, Nice, Normandy, Orléans-Tours, Reims, Rennes and Strasbourg
- Zone C includes the academies of Créteil, Montpellier, Paris, Toulouse and Versailles
To note that the academies of Corsica, Guadeloupe, Guyana, Martinique, Mayotte and Reunion as well as Saint-Barthélemy, Saint-Martin and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon have specific calendars.
For Corsica, the dates of the start of the school year, the All Saints’ Day holidays and Christmas are common to the other academies.
The winter holidays are modeled on those of zone C, from Saturday February 18 to Monday March 6, 2023. The spring holidays are modeled on those of zone B, from Saturday April 15 to Tuesday May 2, 2023.
Good plan for the Ascension, by posing on Monday May 15 and Tuesday May 16 or Thursday May 18 and Friday May 19, it is possible to offer five days of rest.
