What Mario Balotelli did after a match between United and City made Rio Ferdinand look red.
In conversation with former stopper bauta in Manchester City Vincent Kompany on the Youtube channel Vibe with Five, the two enter the FA Cup semifinals in 2011.
City beat city rivals Manchester United 1-0 after scoring by Yaya Touré, in a match Kompany points to as a turning point for the light blues on the way to the top of English football.
Rio Ferdinand thought the same thing.

At the same time, the former United stopper remembers how Mario Balotelli made him look red after the match.

– I went after him there and then, because he celebrated and gestured towards our fans. I just thought it was disrespectful and I was furious, says Ferdinand.

During his time at City between 2010 and 2013, Balotelli won one FA Cup title and one league title.
However, the Italian became better known in England for being a troublemaker, which may have contributed to his age completely living up to expectations in the country.
– He was a brilliant person, but Mario is Mario, says former teammate Kompany.
– He had a wild talent, but in the end, players break through with talent, desire and work put in.

After City, the striker left for AC Milan, before a short stay in Liverpool awaited.
Today he plays for the Turkish club Adana Demirspor, where he has scored five goals in twelve league games this season.
