In addition to nutritional characteristics, the characteristics of the mother and pregnancy certainly greatly affect whether the baby born is potentially premature or not.

He made this statement in the Nutrition Talk webinar with the theme ‘Health Challenges and Handling for Mothers and Children with Premature Birth’ organized by Danone Specialized Nutrition Indonesia in commemoration of World Prematurity Day, Wednesday (17/11/2021).

“Risk factors that have the potential to cause premature birth can be categorized into 3 characteristics, namely maternal characteristics, nutritional characteristics, and pregnancy characteristics,” said Dr. Rima in the webinar.
