Mazrotul Afiro (31), pregnant mother with symptoms of COVID-19 died due to delay in receiving treatment due to a full hospital. A day later, Fakhrudin, Mazrotul’s husband, died following his wife.
Mazrotul died on Wednesday (14/7) in the morning around 01.00 WIB. Meanwhile, Fakhrudin breathed his last on Thursday (15/7/2021) at 01.30 WIB. The two of them followed the 7-month fetus in Marotul’s womb, which was declared dead on Monday (12/7) at 21.00 WIB.
“The bad news is that today her husband died,” said Gredek Village Head Muhammad Bahrul Ghofar to detikcom, Thursday (15/7/2021).
Ghofar said Fakhrudin’s death was probably due to exhaustion and mental stress. Because, he was always by his wife’s side when looking for a hospital until he finally got treatment at the hospital RSUD Ibn Sina.

“Yesterday, when his wife was being treated, he was waiting for his own wife Monday (12/7) night. Most likely, he also hasn’t eaten, is depressed, has high pressure,” said Ghofar.
In fact, continued Ghofar, on Wednesday (14/7) after Magrib, the late Fakhrudin had a video call with Gresik Regent Fandi Akhmad Yani. During face-to-face communication via cellphone, the deceased still looks healthy.
“Last night, after sunset, the Gresik Regent was still making video calls with him. It was still delicious and healthy to talk to,” he said.
Ghofar told me that at 21.00 WIB (Wednesday), Fakhrudin was sleeping in his room, delirious. One of the family came to his house and he immediately went. Then Ghofar asked to sleep in the living room to be with his friends, not too stressed, and not too stressed.
“I waited there until 1pm with RT, we waited on the terrace while he was sleeping, let him have a friend, he was in the living room while sleeping. After 1pm we went home, half past two I heard that he died,” he explained.
The death of Mazrotul and Fakhrudin left his own sorrow. Now their only 11-year-old child has to be an orphan. At 10.30 WIB, the late Fakhrudin was buried privately health protocol. Fakhrudin was buried right next to his wife and child.
“Just now at around 10.30 WIB the funeral was finished. And the funeral was carried out according to the health protocol. Due to the condition of the independent isolation position. He was buried next to his wife, next to the fitting,” he concluded
