He creates sculptures and illustrates Dante’s Divine Comedy, Carmen, Gargantua and Pantagruel by Rabelais, Candide by Voltaire and Don Quixote by Cervantes.

From the mid-1960s, he exhibited in the most famous museums on three continents, in his hometown, Figueras, in 1974, and in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1982.

From 1980, Dalí could no longer paint due to locomotor disease, and was further disrupted by the death of his beloved wife in 1982.

The depressed artist then lived in his hometown until his death on January 23, 1989.
