Pranksters Convince Tucker Carlson They Edited Infamous Princess Kate Photo in Hilarious Hoax

Pranksters have tricked former Fox News host Tucker Carlson into believing they were the “recently fired” British royal aide who edited the infamous photo of Princess Kate.

The prank is the work of Josh Pieters and Archie Manners, the two men behind the YouTube channel ‘Josh & Archie’ who are known for the pranks they play on celebrities. In an attempt to get interviewed for the former Fox News host’s new streaming show, the two posed as “George,” a disgruntled former employee of the British royal family who had been fired for not doing a good enough job at the manipulating the now infamous photo of Princess Kate and her three children.

“Amputate a limb of your choice”

To convince the Tucker Carlson Network (TCN) production staff, Pieters and Manners say they were “stroking Carlson’s ego” by offering their story as an exclusive “because the mainstream media in the UK wouldn’t do anything with it.” They forwarded a false employment contract in which they had placed the slogan of the British supermarket chain Tesco – ‘Every Little Helps’ – in Latin on the emblem of Kensington Palace, accompanied by a special clause in which the royal family reserves the right to “sever a limb to amputate at will” if George failed his probation.

It worked. As ‘digital content creator’ George, Manners was invited to a TV studio in Westminster where he had a conversation with Carlson, according to a video that the two posted on X (formerly Twitter) and which has now been viewed almost 1.5 million times. was viewed. During the interview, “George” explained, among other things, how the infamous photo was taken in December and that, among other things, a Christmas tree had to be removed from the background. “That was great and very interesting,” Carlson replied. “I didn’t expect to be so interested in this, but you just told a great story.”

Afterwards, Manners was told by TCN that the interview would normally be broadcast early next week. However, Pieters and Manners decided to announce the joke earlier. “We didn’t want any more false rumors to be spread about the photo. We did not want to attach importance to all the conspiracy theories that are already circulating about it in our video.”

Neither Tucker Carlson himself nor his network have commented on the joke’s revelation so far.
