JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The government officially expands the provision of sales tax incentives on luxury goods (PPnBM) for motor vehicle engine cylinder capacity between 1,501 cc to 2,500 cc.
Effective April 1, 2021, incentives are given to two main segments, namely those with two and four wheels (4×2 and 4×4) with local purchase above 60 percent.
There are different PPnBM rates for the said vehicles. For 4×2 vehicles, the initial 20 percent will be 10 percent for phase I (April-August 2021) and to 15 percent in phase II (September-December 2021).

Meanwhile, the scheme for vehicles with 4×4 drives is a 25 percent discount. The car segment, which originally had a 40 percent PPnBM rate, will be 30 percent for phase I and 35 percent for phase II.
In the same statement, it was mentioned that one of the products you could enjoy PPnBM incentives is Toyota Kijang Innova. In fact, currently the official rate has been decided through the Toyota Sales Operation (Auto2000) Decree with No.SK/001/TSO.OPR/IV/2021.

In detail, the price reduction for Innova after getting an incentive is Rp. 21.3 million to Rp. 32 million depending on the variant and engine capacity.
In the lower middle variants fueled by gasoline and diesel (G and V), the difference in car prices reaches IDR 26 million.
Meanwhile, the highest variant is the Venturer, which is IDR 27 million – IDR 28.5 million for the petrol model and IDR 30.4 million – IDR 32 million for the diesel.
Then, if you are interested in buying an Innova that has been followed by accessories, the market price will also be adjusted, which is IDR 21 million to IDR 28.5 million.
