Chelsea manager Graham Potter said N’Golo Kante will not play Wolverhampton Wanderers at London’s Stamford Bridge in the Premier League this weekend.
Potter’s Chelsea will face the Wolves at home in the league on Saturday afternoon.
The Wanderers are looking for a new manager after Bruno Lage’s recent firing.
Potter said French midfielder Kante will not play against Wolves.
The 31-year-old is currently stopped due to injury.
The former Leicester City midfielder has made two Premier League appearances for Chelsea so far this season.

Potter said, “Wesley’s knee isn’t as bad as we thought, so it’s okay.
“It will take a few weeks, I think, but much better than it could be. It is a possibility [to play before World Cup].
“[Kante] he is doing more integration with the team, but he is not ready yet ”.

N’Golo Kante is one of the best central midfielders in the world and, when fit and available, is a major player for Chelsea.
Chelsea are a better side under Kante and since he won’t be playing the Wolves this is good news for the Wanderers.
The wolves are really fighting right now and will have a better chance of winning or equalizing with Chelsea without Kante on the pitch.
