Postponement of the Saint-Ouen “drug supermarket” trial

35 people are being prosecuted in the “drug supermarket” case before the Bobigny Criminal Court for a period of three weeks. Opened on Monday, the hearings were postponed to Wednesday at the request of the lawyers.

Thirty-five people are presented before the Bobigny Criminal Court. They are accused of having been involved in the activities of the “deal” point on avenue Michelet, in Saint-Ouen, in Seine-Saint-Denis.

Opened this Monday, May 9, the hearings were postponed to Wednesday at the request of the lawyers.

Nicknamed “the drug supermarket”, this point of sale represented a turnover of 1.4 million euros per month. Between 2014 and January 2021, this drug trafficking point was one of the most lucrative in France.

The investigators were able to trace the entire production chain of this high place of trafficking. It was in January 2021 that the police managed to dismantle this point of sale by arresting several of its managers. According to Le Parisien, the searches carried out as part of the investigation led to the seizure of large quantities of drugs.

Thus, on the benches of the Bobigny Criminal Court, all the “trades” of this organization intended to sell cannabis and cocaine will be found: gbuyers, sellers and suppliers.

Police resources have been put in place to prevent the relocation of traffickers to Avenue Michelet in Saint-Ouen.
