Saturday at 09.30 took three men enter the post office at Helsfyr. At least one of the three perpetrators had a gun with him.
Two employees at the post office were forced to open a safe, and locked up using handcuffs. The perpetrators ran away with an unknown amount of money.
No one was physically injured during the robbery.
Ask for tips
They now go out with a picture of the suspected perpetrators and a car they believe was used in the robbery. Police are asking potential witnesses to contact them.
– The police put the theft of identification marks on a vehicle in Agmund Bolt’s road in connection with the robbery. The car the perpetrators used probably has this sign on the car, police superintendent Kenneth Wilberg informs in an e-mail to Dagbladet.
The police want information from the public to identify the three perpetrators, and locate the car they have used.

– If the public observes the three perpetrators, we ask that the police be notified by telephone 02800. The police do not want the public themselves to take any initiative towards the three perpetrators.

Earlier on Saturday, operations manager Kjell Jan Kverme gave the following description of the suspected perpetrators:
- Person number one: Eastern European appearance, 175-180 cm tall, bald, green jacket, light brown trousers, umbrella.
- Person number two: Male, about 60 years old, light skin, black jacket, lame and was bad to the bone, white flip beard.
- Person number three: wearing dark clothes.
