Positive start for Poste Italiane and CNH Industrial after release of quarterly report

Positive start to the day for Poste Italiane after the release of the quarterly report. Positive start also for CNH Industrial.

The Tokyo Stock Exchange closed the session in negative territory. The Nikkei index recorded a decline of 1.34% to 32,272 points, after fluctuating between a minimum of 32,251 points and a maximum of 32,591 points.

Lo spread Btp-Bund it came close to 185 points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP approaching 4.6%.

L’euro it fell to $1.07.

Positive start to the day for Italian post (+1,02% a 9,68 euro). The company has communicated the economic and financial results for the first nine months of 2023, a period closed with increasing revenues and profitability. The numbers for the 3rd quarter alone were in line with analysts’ consensus. Furthermore, Poste Italiane’s management has revised upwards the guidance on the 2023 operating result and communicated the amount of the interim dividend for 2024 (relating to the 2023 financial year).

Telecom Italia TIM try the rebound (+0.84% ​​to 0.2531 euros) after the correction suffered in the previous session. The Moody’s agency has put the “B1” rating on the telephone company under review for a possible improvement.

Positive start for CNH Industrial (+2,36% a 10,84 euro). The company announced that the board of directors has approved the motion for voluntary delisting from Piazza Affari, to remain listed only on the NYSE. CNH Industrial expects to achieve single listing in early January 2024.
