The joining of the strike by Portway workers has been causing delays and cancellations of flights in Lisbon, congesting the planned operations to other national airports.
In Madeira, Cristiano Ronaldo Airport has already felt the effects of this strike that forced two cancellations. The Easyjet 7605 flight scheduled to arrive from Lisbon at 8:30 pm has been canceled, making it impossible to return to the Portuguese capital at 9 pm.
It is recalled that according to source from the National Union of Civil Aviation Workers to LUSA, the adhesion to the stoppage at Lisbon airport is today between 80% and 85%.
In Porto, the strike is between 70% and 75%, while in Faro and Funchal, it is around 50%.
