Pop-up shops dedicated to David Bowie in London and New York

In London, a pop-up store dedicated to David Bowie opened on Monday. The location is not trivial because it is here that the photo that adorns the cover of the artist’s fifth album was taken, “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars“, released in 1972.

David Bowie would have turned 75 on January 8; this shop was set up to celebrate its anniversary. A similar store has also been set up in New York, USA. Limited-edition records and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage of the singer’s life in 2016 are on sale there. These pop-up stores will remain open until the beginning of next January.
