How to translate the song title? It may seem confusing, but it’s actually not that abstract. As Lynn herself says:
“What do we all associate with cooking? In addition to the usual boiling of water, this word also includes talking, getting angry, being loud, continuous, intensely resolving, forming – so many emotions in one seemingly simple word. For me, boiling also means change, getting a new form, boiling out emotions and creating anew.”
“Our thoughts are also continuous and intense, like the boiling process itself. Therefore, the song is like a conversation with oneself, about doubts and fears, as well as forgiveness, surrendering to changes and new experiences. Sometimes you just have to allow the boiling process, because in the end you can come to revelations that you would not have known about yourself otherwise,” Linn says about the new song, “I want the listener to be able to associate the message of this song not only as a conversation with himself, but also with a person close to him or an associate!”
The song also showcases Linn’s love for vocal harmony and the variety of melodies woven into this pop track. Linn’s performance can also be appreciated in hip-hop artist Edavārdi’s new album “IEKŠAS”.
